Clae celebrates our connection to the earth through creative practice.

We run a busy studio space in central ÅŒtautahi, Aotearoa where we create useful objects for you to use in your own studio and offer classes where you can experience the alchemy of earth through clay.
Our unique geological location provides the inspiration to embed our own local earth stories into the day to day ritual of creativity.

Working with earth from the ground to creative material is a slow journey that highlights the true elemental nature of resources that are used in the studio.

We hope to share with you this mindfulness of materiality.
