These beautiful Rimu Rib Tools have been designed by Clae and made here in Canterbury by artisan Roger.  They are made of recycled rimu, the hole in the centre adds grip when working wet, and the smooth wood creates a silky smooth finish on the clay.
 
MOUNTAIN RIB - 100mm x 50mm, these ribs have a straight side perfect for compressing clay or throwing, as well as a throwing curve, with bevelled edges
 
TEAR DROP RIB - 120mm x 75mm, with beautiful curves with bevelled edges
 
LARGE RIB -  170mm x 65mm, perfect for throwing large items , with bevelled edges
 
EXTRA-LARGE RIB -  220mm x 70mm, perfect for throwing even bigger items, with bevelled edges
 
PEBBLE RIB No1 -  800mm x 600mm, has a straight edge and curves, with rounded edge perfect for shaping on the wheel
