This beautiful rimu throwing stick has been designed by Clae and made here in Canterbury by artisan Roger.  It is made of recycled rimu, and have been designed to give the thrower a long straight side for throwing, as well as a beautiful curve for bellying out and shaping tall items on the wheel.  The hole in the centre adds grip when working wet, and the smooth wood creates a silky smooth finish on the clay.
 
This rimu throwing stick measures 30cm long by6cm at the widest point of the curved end.
 
To prolong the life of this tool always clean and dry after use.
