This beautiful rimu ribs has been designed by Clae and made here in Canterbury by artisan Roger.  It is made of recycled rimu, and have been designed to give the thrower a long straight side for throwing, as well as beautiful curves to work with as they throw.  The hole in the centre adds grip when working wet, and the smooth wood creates a silky smooth finish on the clay.
 
This medium rimu throwing rib measures 17cm long by 6.5cm at its widest point.
 
To prolong the life of this tool always clean and dry after use.
