The HAND-BUILDING KIT SET is for people keen to give clay a go in their home with minium equipment.  It includes 2kg of clay made by Nelson Potters Clay, and seven tools (clay cutter, sponge, wooden knife, wooden pin tool, wooden rib, flexible rib tool, loop tool).  It also has step-by-step instructions for throwing a cylinder.
 
The THROWING KIT SET is for everyone who has just got access to a pottery wheel and wanst to experiment with throwing. NOTE TOO THAT YOUR CLAY CREATIONS WILL NOT BE FUNCTIONAL UNTIL THEY HAVE BEEN FIRED IN A KILN.
TO FIRE YOUR WORK YOU WILL NEED TO FIND A FIRING SERVICE OR SOMEONE WITH A KILN WHO IS ABLE TO FIRE FOR YOU.  The clay package includes firing information.
