This bespoke pottery rib Tool has been created from the shadows of rocks and pebbles found in the braided rivers of the Rakaia, Waimakariri and Rakitata on the Canterbury plains of Te Waipounamu.

Water is the primary element to necessitate the flow of clay as it is shaped into new treasures.

The edges and corners of this Tool will create flow from your fingertips to the surface of the clay.

Cut from 1mm brass it is finished with a simple rubbed satin surface that will continue to patina and weather as you use it.

This would make an extra special addition to a creative set that you already have or make a wonderful locally made gift for a loved one.

This item will naturall petina with use.  To clean either sand with light sandpaper or use brass cleaner.
