Clae have produced this fabulous Aotearoa Coloured Slip range inspired by the Te Waipounamu  South Island environment, and using local materials.  Slips are applied to raw clay (greenware) and are a great way to add both colour and texture to your clay work.  Because they are clay based they give excellent colour coverage, creating a matte colour finish. 
 
Bathurst, Kakahu, Lucknow and Omarama are 700ml containers, while Waipara is 200ml.
 
Clae slip are tested for 1220- 1240 deg C and are suitable for all mid-fire clays and firings.
